Improved? version of the Texas Tavern photo

Played around with it a little bit and made this version.

All taken with the new lens except for the moon. That was with my 70-300mm.

A composite shot using the moon photo.

I bought a new lens, the Sigma 10-20mm super wide angle. Haven’t had a chance to take any photos with it yet but I have over a week off of work coming up so I’ll get out then and try to generate a bunch of new content for the blog here.
I just realized that IE chokes when I post images wider than 600 pixels and forces the sidebar links and search form to go to the bottom of the page. That doesn’t happen with Firefox which I use 99% of the time so I didn’t notice that bug earlier. I’ll look into editing the templates later to try to fix that. In the meantime download Firefox if you can, if you’re at work or school and don’t have that option, sorry.
-Edit-
I just installed the Internet Explorer 7 update and the site displays correctly in that so hopefully that bug is fixed. I’m sticking with Firefox as my default browser though.
There was a meteor shower last night and I had hoped to catch some streaking across the sky but no luck. Here’s what I got instead. Depending on your monitor calibration these either look fairly cool or like total crap. They look good on my LCD but not so hot on the CRT.

Could probably stand a little more editing but it will do for now.
