This was scanned a long time ago with my first scanner and I went to redo it but now I can’t find the print. Was hoping to make a larger version. Oh well.

Changes

May 2nd, 2008 by kent

In the next couple weeks I’m going to delete everything here and start over. The plan is to have mini-galleries in the posts since WordPress makes it easy to do that now, plus I’ll try to get things into themes or some type of order. Most of the photos that already on here will come back, just in a different place and maybe updated, improved versions.

Or maybe not.

Playing round with making a High Dynamic Range photo. Here’s a combination of 3 photos of Roanoke.

Still haven’t figured out how to insert the photo full size.

B/W

I don’t think I like the b/w one. I need to play around with that some more.

This new version of Wordpress has some bugs in it that’s really annoying. Keep telling it to insert photos full size but it keeps inserting them at 50%. Time to go search for a solution.

Sebastião Salgado

Something different tonight. Instead of my own photo or even a photo at all here is an excerpt from the documentary Spectre of Hope about Salgado’s book Migrations. If you ever get a chance to see the whole thing do it. Unfortunately both the movie and the book are out of print and very expensive.

Social networks

April 4th, 2008 by kent

I added links to all the various social networks I belong to at the moment. Some of them I don’t update too often but if your a member of some of them and not already on my friend lists feel free to add me. Thanks. Just look for the links about three quarters of the way down on the right of the page.

Just a crappy fireworks picture taken with my ancient point and shoot digital camera. Actually the photo looks pretty good on my lcd monitor but not so much on the crt one.
